Splitting her time between San Diego and Copenhagen, Stine Jensen has always blended the best of both worlds the creativity and warmth of Southern California with the craftsmanship and culinary precision of Denmark.
A trained chef with a refined palate, Stine used her love for flavor and balance to create a line of tequilas designed for sipping, not just shots. In addition to her award-winning Blanco, she developed four unique, naturally flavored tequilas crafted to appeal to the European taste – smooth, nuanced, and unexpected.

San Hagen® Tequila is exclusively crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave, hand-harvested at peak maturity by skilled Mexican jimadores in Jalisco. The leaves are stripped away to reveal the heart, or piña, which is then cooked in masonry ovens for 40 hours to release its natural sugars—staying true to traditional methods.
San Hagen® Tequila is exclusively crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave, hand-harvested at peak maturity by skilled Mexican jimadores in Jalisco. After cooking, the piñas are shredded or “chewed” and mixed with volcanic water to extract the sweet agave juice. This juice is then open-fermented using only native yeasts from the agave and double-distilled in stainless steel stills with copper coils, resulting in a pure, crystal-clear tequila that showcases vibrant agave flavors with subtle notes of citrus and spice.
